According to a post on X by CitiusMag, race organizers for the Atlanta City Games 2024 have rolled out the list of races track stars who are set to run. Noah Lyles will be running the 150-meter men’s event after a blazing performance last year. Grant Holloway, the hurdles titan, will defend his 110-meter hurdles title, which he won last year.

JUST ANNOUNCED: Race organizers for the Atlanta City Games on May 18 confirmed:

@LylesNoah will be running the 150m there. He won last year’s race in 14.56 seconds. That’s No. 3 on the all-time list behind Usain Bolt (14.35) and Tyson Gay (14.41) in the rare event.

The Adidas Games, officially known as the Adidas Atlanta City Games, are an annual track and field meeting. The event was originally held in Boston from 2016 to 2021, but was later relocated to Atlanta City in 2023. Last year, in 2023, Noah Lyles took the race by storm and beat Erriyon Knighton in the 150-meter sprint, clocking a trailblazing 14.56 seconds at the Centennial Olympic Park. Knighton clocked in 14.85, while Kenya’s Ferdinand Omanyala came in third with 14.89.

Noah Lyles’ time put him third on the all-time list, only behind Usain Bolt at 14.35 in the number one spot and Tyson Gay at 14.41, who is in second place over the distance. This year, Atlanta, Georgia, will host the Adidas Atlanta City Games  2024 on Saturday, May 18, at The Meadow, Piedmont Park, in Atlanta.
