Christopher Bell was on the outside of a three-wide battle for the win when the race-ending caution flew, allowing him to take victory despite only leading a single lap. Carson Hocevar finished a career-best second while angering several of his fellow drivers, and Kyle Larson — who was leading at the final restart — finished third.

The race featured 50 lead changes between 15 drivers with 11 caution flags throughout the event. Joey Logano, who also won Stage 2, led the most laps at 83. Josh Berry, who crashed on the final lap while running inside the top-ten, won Stage 1 on Sunday. A.J. Allmendinger also earned a bonus point for securing the fastest lap of the event.

The race was frantic, ending with two-lap dash in overtime after Austin Cindric crashed from the lead (with a little help from Larson). Larson and Ross Chastain then lined up side-by-side for the final restart, but Hocevar’s decision to abandon Chastain and make his own move up the middle opened the door for Bell to get alongside Larson. Hocevar did make an impressive final charge, splitting Larson and Bell into the final corner, but just as a three-wide photo finish (similar to one year ago) appeared guaranteed, the yellow flag flew for an incident on the backstretch.
