The Dallas Cowboys lost on Sunday, and potentially in a bigger way than just the game, against the Atlanta Falcons.

As the fourth quarter began quarterback Dak Prescott was seen on the broadcast being tended to with what many assumed was a hand injury. While it was ultimately revealed that Prescott did have a hand issue, Jerry Jones said after that there is no concern with the hand, but he was quickly ruled out with a hamstring injury.

The FOX broadcast went on to speculate when Prescott may have injured his hamstring, but it wasn’t until after the game that more clarity was fully revealed. Prescott noted that the injury was “something he never felt before” which is certainly not what you want to hear.

Dak Prescott said he hurt his hamstring on a scramble. But “it was something” he’d never felt before. He will undergo a MRI. “It would take a lot for me not to be out there,” he said. pic.twitter.com/nriC3qMaF4

If you have paid attention over his career, Prescott has always been pretty measured with the media. He does not offer more than he has to so that he said this was certainly eyebrow-raising.

On his way to the locker room, Prescott could be seen favoring things a bit which adds to the overall concern.

The Cowboys have back-to-back home games coming up against the Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans and need to win both of them just to get to .500 at this point on their season. Things are on the verge of really slipping away from them, and being without their quarterback would obviously add to that overall situation.
