On Sunday, the New Orleans Saints visited the Atlanta Falcons. In the matchup, rookies Taliese Fuaga and Mason Tipton again stood out.
In his first matchup against the Dirty Birds, Fuaga had one of the better games of his young career. The left tackle had an efficiency rating of 97.4, which was the second-greatest performance of his so far. Fuaga was also vital on Taysom Hills second score of the game and Kamara’s. However, he was penalized twice and allowed two QB hits. One of his penalties – a false start – negated an 11-yard gain by Alvin Kamara.
UDFA wide receiver Mason Tipton was also spotted, although just for one play. It was a six-yard catch, and one that earned a first down.
