Jeezy has announced his fourth annual Sno Ball Gala, an event that finds the rapper putting on for his city and working towards uplifting his community.
Taking place on Thursday (Oct. 3), this year’s Sno Ball Gala will be held at a private location in Atlanta and is described as “a night of glamor and giving back.” This year’s celebration will be hosted by comedian Mike Epps, with DJ Cassidy providing the sounds for the night.
Jeezy shared his excitement about the upcoming affair, which he views not only as a star-studded event, but an opportunity to assist the less fortunate. “The Sno Ball Gala is more than just a night of entertainment,” the hitmaker said in a statement.
“It’s about coming together as a community to make a real difference in the lives of young people who need our support. I’m grateful for everyone who contributes to making this event a success year after year.”
The fourth annual Sno Ball Gala will include a gourmet dinner, as well as silent and live auctions in which attendees can bid on exclusive items. Proceeds from the gala will benefit Jeezy’s non-profit organization, the Street Dreamz Foundation, which was created to “provide aide and opportunity to underserved communities worldwide,” according to its official website.
Founded in 2001, the Street Dreamz Foundation puts a focus on mentoring at-risk youth, teaching them leadership skills such as independence and respect for themselves and others.
