In this Exclusive collaboration with EssentiallySports, Sanu revealed how he would love to link up with coach Rah. “I love coach Rah. He’s a phenomenal coach. But he’s one of those guys who knows how to get the best out of his players, knows how to put them in the position to play the best and their best ball,” shared by former Falcons WR.

Sanu didn’t stop at those praises as he continued to talk about his chances of landing in Atlanta. When we asked whether he had talked to Morris about getting that opportunity, Sanu replied, “Him and I, we have talked about it, and I would have to, you know, do my part in getting some experience. We all know how experience is valued in football, and when it comes to coaching, it plays an even greater significance moving forward.

Although the Atlanta Falcons have their coaching staff sorted this regular season. It wouldn’t be an issue if Sanu were added to the backroom staff, as the former Falcons WR brings heaps of experience with him. When the Falcons announced the return of Morris as head coach in 2024 since serving in an interim a few years back.

Did the NFL rob Mohamed Sanu of a golden chance to prove himself as a coach?

Sanu was the first one to tease a role back in Atlanta, “Big moves in the ATL! Excited to see Raheem Morris take charge as head coach, and there’s some buzz that I might be stepping into the coaching arena as the wide receivers coach?” Well, it could be surprising if Sanu does land a role in the receivers room, as the Falcons already have Ike Hilliard in that position.

But if it’s an assistant role, Sanu could see himself taking on that opportunity and taking in that experience he heavily desires. For now, we don’t know for sure whether Sanu will get that coaching role in Atlanta, as he shared with us on the EssentiallySports exclusive. However, till he gets his dream of coaching in the NFL fulfilled, we can continue to cheer him up from our seats as we await more episodes of the My Cave My Rulez series.
