Here’s What Amber Rose Said About Donald Trump’s Pet-Eating Claim

On Thursday, September 18, TMZ published a video interview with Rose, shot outside the Los Angeles International Airport. In the clip, a reporter explained to Rose — who is an avid Trump supporter — that he and Vance have recently been accused of “being really racist” toward the Haitian community in Springfield, Ohio.

The reporter briefly referenced claims the pair made about Haitians “eating the dogs.” In turn, Rose cut the reporter off with a question, “Why is that racist if it’s true?”

At that point, the reporter noted the claim’s falsity, but Rose continued to disagree.

“No, no, let’s not do that because people have come out and said that their cats and dogs were hung up in front of people’s homes. And they saw it with their own two eyes,” Rose said.

As the conversation continued, Rose explained that she’s “so tired” of Trump being accused of being racist.

“I feel like the democrats are obsessed with race — just leave it alone!” she said.

In turn, the reporter explained that Trump and Vance’s comments seemingly “attack” the Black community.

“No it’s not,” Rose replied, adding. “It is a known fact that within the Haitian culture… that some Haitian people eat cats and [dogs.]”

Ultimately, Rose explained that Trump and Vance’s claims are “not racist” because evidence is allegedly being posted online.

“[The people accused] just so happen to be Haitian,” Rose said.

The outlet reports that since then, Trump and Vance have utilized the rumor in their presidential campaign. Per AP News, Trump even reiterated the claim during his recent presidential debate with VP Kamala Harris.

Despite this, the outlet notes that Springfield officials have reported the rumor as false.
