A potential breakthrough for Aaron Rodgers
Though the Packers are in a better position than the injury-plagued Giants, Sunday might be a difficult matchup for the Packers’ defense. It ranks in the lowest third of the NFL in yards allowed per carry (5.0). While the Giants, who have the league’s leading rusher, Saquon Barkley, run it at the league’s second-best clip with 5.8 yards per carry.
Though, Sunday can be a great opportunity for Rodgers. He recently defeated Tom Brady and the Buccaneers, although he did not stand out in the match. Because A-Rod will be playing in London for the first time as a packer, he will undoubtedly trying to charm his UK fans as well. Of course, the Giants are aware of it. “It’s like owning a python and saying, ‘Don’t worry about it, he won’t bite”– Wink Martindale, the Giants‘ defensive coordinator stated. Regardless of the outcome, NFL fans will certainly have an entertaining game on Sunday.
