Married at First Sight has shared an exclusive clip with Newsweek of Season 15 couple Alexis and Justin involved in a heated argument.

The footage, which will feature on the August 24 episode of the Lifetime series, shows the pair coming to blows over their communication and their respective dogs.

In the previous episode of MAFS, the couples returned from their honeymoons after getting married and moved in together in San Diego. Fans watched as Alexis and Justin struggled with introducing their dogs to each other.

Justin’s dog Maya and Alexis’s dog Newton met for the first time but things quickly took a turn for the worse when Maya attacked Newton, injuring his eye.

At first, Justin told his wife that “nothing happened,” trying to to downplay the incident, but Alexis was later seen calling the vets to find some emergency care for Newton.

Now, in the upcoming episode of Season 15—which boasts DeVon Franklin as a dating expert—things are still tense between the couple in the aftermath of the incident as Alexis discovers that Newton is “throwing up blood.”

In Newsweek’s exclusive footage from Lifetime, taken in the apartment the couple are living in together, Alexis is shown asking Justin if he is giving Newton his medicine. When he says yes, she tells her husband that the dog hasn’t eaten for two days and should not be taking the medicine on an empty stomach.

The footage then cuts to the empty kitchen but Alexis, 29, and Justin, 33, can be heard arguing loudly in another room.

Justin shouts: “I thought I had it, I thought I was taking care of it, I didn’t feel the need to overshare,” and Alexis replies: “But that’s why I got frustrated with you, you know that’s what I need.”

“Okay, but what the f**k do you want me to do about it right now?” Justin shouts back.

“Not be vague,” says Alexis, adding: “That’s why I’m saying I’m frustrated right now.”

Alexis continues to tell Justin that her main issue is that she doesn’t want him to be “vague,” to which Justin responds: “Okay, I’m not going to be perfect every single time. I’m sorry. I’m never going to be perfect every single time. If that’s you want then I’m likely to end this.”

Justin then asks Alexis: “What else do you want me to do?” as Alexis asks: “Like, what else aren’t you telling me? That’s where my mind goes. When you can’t keep your word, don’t tell me.”

Alexis continues: “You sell me false dreams every single day.” Justin asks what she means and Alexis reiterates her previous point that he is not communicating enough with her.

“I can’t do this,” Alexis says as Justin retorts: “I know, you’re always ready to leave,” leading to more arguments.

Alexis then says in a confessional filmed in her car: “I’m struggling right now with my emotions towards Justin. He keeps adding to this side in my head that’s saying he’s hiding stuff, he’s disingenuous, he’s manipulative in the way that he’s being vague. And that’s manipulation to me.”

Will Alexis and Justin be able to work through their communication issues? Will Newton and Maya be able to live together? Fans will needs to tune into MAFS to find out.

Married at First Sight continues on Wednesdays at 8/7c on Lifetime.
