Dallas-based contractor Mycon is expanding its team in Tennessee, and named Laura LoJacono as its director of business development based out of its Nashville office, according to a Sept. 23 news release the company shared with Construction Dive.

In her new role, LoJacono will oversee business development efforts in the eastern U.S., focusing on the industrial and retail markets, among others, according to Mycon. She will also identify growth opportunities, develop strategies to enhance the company’s market position and build relationships with key clients.

LoJacono brings more than 20 years of experience in the AEC industry to Mycon — prior to her role with the general contractor, she worked for Nashville-based TLC Engineering Solutions, where she was senior client development manager in healthcare operations, per her LinkedIn, and holds a wealth of experience in business development.

LoJacono graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego.

“I am excited to be part of a well-established contractor like MYCON, which has such a strong reputation in the industry,” LoJacono said in the release. “It’s rewarding to contribute to expanding MYCON’s footprint in the East, especially in a city like Nashville, where building solid relationships is so important.”
