Morgan Coyle, 25, shared a video capturing the moment her boyfriend, dubbed “Hinge Man,” showed up with bags of decorations and a helium tank, ready to transform her space for a birthday celebration. The viral clip, reaching over 539,000 views, has left viewers convinced that romance isn’t dead—even on dating apps. Coyle spoke to Newsweek about how “Hinge Man” came to be, and the aspects that make him such a keeper.

“Honestly, I thought he was just coming by to lend a hand to my roommates,” Coyle said. “I had no idea he was about to go above and beyond to make my birthday so special.”
Following Coyle’s Pinterest board to the letter, he helped bring her party theme—”A Tini Bit Older”—to life with carefully curated decor.
“The most heartwarming part was the attention to detail he put into every aspect of the decorations,” Coyle said. “I had no idea he was capable of pulling off something so thoughtful, but it just shows how attentive he is and how important listening to one another is in a relationship.”
