The Sicilian Butcher to Debut in Fort Worth on July 20
Chef-driven Italian fine dining with unique cannoli and pasticceria experience to celebrate grand opening next to Hash Kitchen
Fort Worth, TX (RestaurantNews.com) The Sicilian Butcher — the modern craft meatball and charcuterie bar by celebrity chef and concept king Joey Maggiore — is ready to make the Lone Star State fall in love with its innovative takes on traditional Italian cuisine when it opens Saturday, July 20, at 3200 Tracewood Way, Suite 110.
On grand opening day, The Sicilian Butcher will kick off the festivities with a ribbon-cutting at 3:30 p.m. ahead of the opening at 4 p.m. The Sicilian Butcher is a modern casual restaurant serving craft meatballs, five-foot charcuterie platters, made-from-scratch pasta and more. Each location also houses a sister concept — The Sicilian Baker — which features a build-your-own cannoli bar, pastries, gelato, espresso and other Sicilian sweets.
“My father, Tomaso, a Sicilian-born chef, inspired my dream of creating a restaurant that embodied his passion for Italian cuisine,” said Chef Joey Maggiore, who co-founded the experiential brands with his wife, Cristina Maggiore, and their business partner, Flora Tersigni. “The Sicilian Butcher is a testament to that dream, offering delectable experiences and flavors that wow our guests. In May, we opened our chef-driven brunch concept, Hash Kitchen, right next door to where The Sicilian Butcher will be. The warm welcome we received has been incredible. So get ready, Texas! The Sicilians are coming.”
Savory Fund, an innovative private equity firm investing in emerging restaurant concepts, acquired Hash Kitchen in 2021 and The Sicilian Butcher in 2022, with plans to expand both concepts nationwide. Currently, the innovative Sicilian and Italian-inspired restaurant operates three locations in Arizona, with new locations set to open in North Dallas and San Antonio.
The Sicilian Butcher at Alliance Town Center will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
