Tarek El Moussa Finally Reacts to Ex-Wife Christina Hall’s Divorce
Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek’s network of contributors
Tarek El Moussa and his wife Heather Rae El Moussa are staying positive despite the recent divorce of their co-stars Christina Hall and Josh Hall.
The HGTV couple, who recently announced their participation in the upcoming show The Flip Off alongside Tarek’s ex-wife Christina and her now ex-husband Josh, confirmed that the competition will continue despite the split.
Heather, 36, shared with E! News that the show will now feature an “us against her,” style approach. She also emphasized their support for Christina, 41, stating, “We support her,” while her husband expressed confidence that she will “get through this” challenging period and that “life’s tough, s–t happens.” Tarek, 48, who was married to Christina from 2009 to 2018, continued, “We got one shot at life and we gotta do what’s best for us, so whatever she needs, we’re here to help.”

Over the years, the former Flip or Flop star and his ex-wife have developed a friendly relationship, with Heather – who previously appeared on Netflix‘s Selling Sunset – noting that sometimes she and Christina even team up against Tarek. “We do like to gang up on him,” she said to the outlet, with Tarek joking that it might become “the girls against me” on The Flip Off.
Josh filed for divorce earlier this month on July 8, according to court documents obtained by Newsweek Entertainment, and requested spousal support from Christina. However, Christina cited July 7 as the day of their breakup and asked the court to terminate its ability to award Josh alimony. Neither Christina nor Josh has publicly commented on the divorce.
Tarek and Christina share two children together – Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8. The tv personality also shares a 12-month-old son named Tristan with Heather, who he has been married to since October 2021.
