JP Morgan Chase applied for a trademark for IndexGPT, their new generative AI tool. IndexGPT will compete against JP Morgan’s ChatGPT, serving business areas like Advertising, Corporate Advising, and Financial SAAS Services. JP Morgan submitted an application for trademark registration for “IndexGPT” to the USPTO(United States Patent & Trademark Office) on May 11, indicating plans to use it for commercial purposes.
