St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church: 101 W Burrel Dr. — The public is invited to participate in a “Donut Dash” with St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church, set for 6:30 a.m. Feb. 4. There will be donuts at the end of a timed 10k and 5k run, and for a non-timed 2k run/walk on the streets of Crown Point. The entry fee is $30 for the 10k, $25 for the 5k, $20 for the 5k/2k non-timed and a family four pack can be purchased for $64. Tickets include medals for the first 200 to sign up, mimosas for the first 100 adults, donuts and snacks and more. Liberty Bible Church: 608 Colfax Ave. — Liberty Bible Church will have its “First Fridays” event Feb. 3, with food, entertainment and community at the LaPorte campus. The event, which begins with food at 6 p.m., will feature a showing of “American Underdog.” The dinner and movie are free and open to the public.

Immanuel Presbyterian Church: 140 W. U.S. Highway 30 — There will be a women’s bible study beginning at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 30. Women of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. For more information call 219-865-2686.

Emmanuel Baptist Church: 760 McCool Rd — A winter bible conference on baptist history will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church of South Haven at 8:30 a.m., 9:45 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. Jan. 29 and from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Dr. Phil Stringer and Paul and Betty Hiscock will talk the bible, baptist history and stirring music.
